The Growing Stage is our popular education program, offering classes such as Musical Theatre, Monologues, Singer’s Solo Studio and more for kids ages 5 – 17. Our philosophy is that performing arts help kids communicate, cooperate, create and celebrate.

SUMMER INTENSIVES  2011

Classes meet at the Manzano High School Performing Arts Center (12200 Lomas, east of Juan Tabo) Click HERE for a map.

Summer workshops are for ages 5 – 16. Each two-week intensive workshop meets from 9am to 3:30pm and culminates with a showcase for family and friends on the final evening. Kids have fun developing their skills in acting, stagecraft, vocal & dance technique and technical theatre while making friends and working as a team on their show.

TEEN MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

This year, we are expanding on our mentorship program. Teens (13 & up) who have an interest in technical theatre (instead of performing) get hands on experience with stage lighting design & operation, set design & construction, costume design and sound design & operation. This special program is limited to only four participants and is available at a tuition rate of $250 per session.
